Sifft Electric is a licensed electrical contractor with the Electrical Contractor Registration Agency (ECRA); as well as being on the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) Authorized Contractor Program (ACP).  Since we are ACP-approved, inspectors are allowed to audit our work rather than conducting full electrical inspections. This means we can provide some key benefits to you the homeowner, including uninterrupted workflow and reduced electrical service downtime during renovations or construction. It also provides a seamless disconnect / reconnect procedure allowing for service upgrades, alterations and repairs to your hydro service without having to wait for electrical inspectors to visit on their scheduled day (which, in some areas, could translate into a two week wait, depending on the inspector’s schedule and work load).

No matter whether we are wiring your entire project, installing a new service, replacing your overhead hydro poles with an underground feed or just installing a couple of devices in your home, you will have the peace of mind that it is being done in the safest manner possible.   When we plan and install your electrical wiring, you can be confident that we are doing it in accordance with the most current codes, that the proper permits are in place and that your project is being inspected as required by the electrical safety authority’s inspectors.
